Some thoughts on being transsexual.
Being transgendered is sometimes hard, sometimes easy and sometimes truly wonderful. It is wonderful when you can change a mistake in nature. With the resources available today, a person can look and feel like the person they are meant to be. Transgendered people come in all shapes and sizes, have differing tastes and sexual orientations. There are transgendered women who prefer women, those who prefer men, bisexual, those who prefer other transgendered women and the list goes on. The bottom line is you love who you love and you really can't help that. This myriad mix of people is what makes life interesting!
The hard part is getting through the loneliness and confusion a transgendered person experiences. it is not easy to realize you should have been born another sex. You think maybe you are gay, adjust to that and still find something is not right. I personally knew I was supposed to be a girl when I was 5 or 6 years old. I never played with other little boys, always with little girls. I began dressing in female clothing about the same time. I pretty much always knew I was a woman. It just took a while to get there.
Here in this section I hope to record the transgendered experience and I hope to save others some of the pain I went through and avoid some of the mistakes I made. I would also love to here from other transgenders and include their experiences, successes, failures and stories as well. Hopefully we can help each other and make the transgendered lifestyle a little less painful and a lot more enjoyable.
